How to Setup Google Authorship for Blog or Website

Hey Guys. In this article i will tell you all about How to Setup Google Authorship for a Blog or Website. I am a blogger and first time when i saw Google+ link with pictures of the authors in Google search result i was amazed too. 

I was just like "You are not a blogger, they are. You are nothing". 

And then i made a research that how did they do this.  It was Google Authorship. You know everything is possible AT LEAST on INTERNET. 
I am adding this pictures of one of my search result which shows my pic on Google search Result. 

Want to learn how to do this ? OK.   So first you should know what the Google Authorship is? 

What Is Google Authorship and What it does ?

Google authorship is a feature provided by Google. This feature lets Google Verify that you are the Author of a blog, website or a blog post etc.

Once you Setup Google Authorship, Google will start showing your photo, name and Google+ link in front of all contents you post on your blog or website which appears on Google Search Results.

There are some steps to verify Google Authorship

Step 1. You must have a Google+ Profile with a real photo of yourself.

Step 2. Verify you email account on Google+ Profile.

( Tip : Provide your Gmail address if you want Google Authorship on Blogspot Blog, Otherwise Give email address for the personal Domain)

Step 3. Provide a Google+ Link on your blog contents or website articles. 

Tip: In Blogspot blog you don't need to provide Google+ link. Because Blogspot blogs already have Google+ profile link of author in bottom of the post.


Step 4. Link back to the webpage on your Google+ Profile.
 
           Go to Contributor to section of your profile and add a link to the domain or blog.
