Lotus Notes Troubleshooting : Error message "File does not exist"

This error occurs due to user enabled the option "Automatically append a signature to the bottom of my outgoing mail messages" in the Tools > Preferences where the mail signature file was not found.

Solution 1 - Disable the signature:
Go to More > Preferences > Mail > Signature > uncheck "Automatically append a signature to the bottom of my outgoing mail messages" > press OK

Solution 2 - Relocating the signature file:
Go to More > Preferences > Mail > Signature > Select HTML or Image File > Browse and choose your signature file > press OK

Lotus Notes Troubleshooting : What to do if there are error message(s) in mailfile?

 
Troubleshooting Steps :
 
 
1. Exit your Lotus Notes client
 
2. Browse the Notes directory ( e.g. C:\Users\<User Name>\Application Data\Lotus\Notes\Data )
 
  • - Delete CACHE.NDK
  • - Rename BOOKMARK.NSF
 
3. Open Lotus Notes client
 
4. Getting into your Inbox view
 
  • - Replace mail file design by select File > Application > Replace Design, type in your server, select the Mail Design File> press Replace
  •  
  • - Upgrade Folder Design by select Actions > Folder > Upgrade folder design > choose Automatic upgrade
  •  
  • - Go to your Inbox view, press Ctrl + Shift + F9 to upgrade all views)
 
5. Select More > Preference > press OK
